Did you know that the 2021 PA Youth Survey found that 41.2% of Delaware County students reported they felt sad or depressed most days in the past 12 months? 19.3% of students had seriously considered attempting suicide. These last few years have been devastatingly challenging for mental health. The need is high and access to affordable treatment is low.
At Child Guidance, we are committed to ensuring children and families get the care they need, as quickly and effectively as possible. That means we will provide the most appropriate care, even if that means reimbursement rates don’t cover the full cost of the service. That means that when children lose their insurance, we don’t stop treatment. That means we help families access resources and develop the tools they need to live healthier, happier lives.
But we can’t do that without you. Your gifts allow us to give 4,500 children and families in our communities the evidence-based, compassionate treatment they deserve and need to survive and to thrive.
